    As a kind of all-weather operation, gate induction radar module is more and more popular among users because of its simple installation, ability to distinguish between people and vehicles, low trigger rate, not affected by weather and environment, and long service life. The channel gate radar developed by Microelectronics based on 5.8GHz/24GHz radar SoC has a simple hardware design, which shorens the development cycle and reduces costs for customers. In addition to the main control chip, only the power chip is needed, FLASH crystal vibration can complete the whole system function. Less system equipment, no need for high frequency plate, reduce the size and cost.


    The gate induction radar module is 12mm*12mm in size, with four transmitting channels and four receiving channels, and supports up to four ×4MIMO. The maximum continuous sweep frequency band width supports 5GHz, which is the widest in the industry at present. Theoretical range resolution can reach 0.04 m and velocity resolution can reach 0.04 m/s.


    As we all know, the application of 5.8GHz/24GHz MMW radar not only has a high requirement on the rationality of antenna design, but also because of the high requirement of antenna on the production process, the core technology is still controlled by a few enterprises, which affects the popularization of MMW radar. Gate induction radar module can be better applied to gate radar because it integrates the antenna which is difficult to design and produce into the chip package, which greatly reduces the difficulty and cost of radar development.
